In 2011 for the Primary School, there are currently 12 teachers with 3 new teachers arriving because of the Boma the project built in 2011. The headmaster, Dominic Sanke, has been at the school for 6 years. He, and several other teachers, have attended the Teachers College in Tanzania. In the 6 years he has been headmaster, achievement scores have risen and the number of students passing on to Secondary School has also increased. Dominic is held accountable by the School Committee, the Board that oversees the Primary School activities and interests.
For the Village, there are a number of Committees that run the day-to-day business of the village, such as the Political Committee, Financial Committee, and Development Committee.
